On Monday, March 26...The Students in Room 9 will present their Warm Feet Warm Bellies Warm Smile project to the Bubb Community at the Monday Morning Meeting. Everyone has worked hard to participate in this project. Everyone has a part...Come join us...(if it rains...it will be the following Monday)...
Let's celebrate the birthday of a really cool author...Dr. Seuss...by reading all day on Friday, March 2. The kids can wear pajamas, bring a pillow, a blanket, asleeping bag, slippers, and one stuffed friend to read in comfort. Please make sure they wear good shoes for P.E. that day! If they bring books from home, please make sure their name is inside! Happy Reading...
Warm Feet, Warm Bellies, Warm Smile...A Service Learning Project brought to you by Room 9 Students...
Homelessness in Mountian View is an issue that the students in Room 9 decided to learn more about in attempts to help. We have researched what it means to be homeless, wrote paragraphs about what a homeless person can do to find help in our community, and have come up with a plan to help our community's homeless. The students want to collect money to purchase items that are neccessary for the day to day comfort and happiness of a person living without a home. To warm their feet, the students want to buy socks for the homeless. The kids want to donate a Meal Ready To Eat pack (MRE) to warm their bellies. And finally the kids came up with the idea to warm the smiles of a homeless person by providing them with a toothbrush, toothpaste, chapstick, and a water bottle. With your help, we can ensure our project gets funded...thank you for any and all help. Room 9...Please check out the Donors Choose page below to learn more about the project.
