Change Makers 2.0
Through this Project Based Learning Unit, the students will be learning about individuals who have made a difference in the world. We will begin small and learn about how children have made changes both locally and globally. Room 9 will then learn about famous historical characters who have brought positive change. The idea that anyone can make a difference will be challenged as we finish the unit learning about men and women who have made the world a better place and might not be as well known. The students will work together at times as well as individually. They will write paragraphs, research papers, and create presentations about change makers. We will celebrate the unit with a Pot Luck Presentation in April.
