Coronavirus and School...

Hi guys...I sure do miss seeing you at school!  My first wish is that you and your family are safe and happy sheltering at home.  There seems to be limitless opportunities to occupy time.  We have been reading tons, building with LEGO, sewing, finishing a puzzle or two, walking the dog, cooking great food, building wood projects (like a bike basket for our dog), watching cool movies and shows, creating art projects (try “dtiys”...draw this in your style...Google it-way amazing), solving murder mystery and escape room home games, napping, and connecting with friends and family online (just to name a few).

For your time away from school...I wish that you would do a few activities.  First, making a schedule of your daily activities would be cool.  It always helps me to know what I am doing and for how long.  Next, READ!!!!!!!! This is one of the most important skills you could be practicing and growing on your own outside of the classroom.  I would love if you email me and let me know what you are [email protected] that, please make sure you are in some sort of contact with your teacher...email, snail mail, phone calls, Zoom meetings, FaceTime, Skype...whatever you can to keep your connection alive and well...I know they miss you too and want to know you are thriving during this time.  You can also use any of your “online resources”...Raz-Kids, ST Math...anything you can to keep your brain thinking about learning.  The last thing you should be doing besides washing hands and taking care of your family is have fun, smile, laugh, and remember...we will all see each other soon!
