Create Games To Practice Your Weekly List At Home...

Spelling Games and Practice Strategies...

Spelling With Flour...on a flat surface (use a cookie sheet for easy clean up)...scatter some flour...then use your finger to spell each word from the weekly spelling list.

Using a flat surface (that cookie sheet will come in handy here too)...spell out each word from your weekly spelling list.

SWAT & SPELL...using a fly swatter...spell out your weekly words...one letter at time.  You can also write each word on a sticky note and swat the word after someone calls it out.

Rainbow Words...or...Unicorn Words...write your spelling words one at a time...then trace over each written word with a different color..."rainbow" words (try to use at least 3 different colors).
